Valid Passport

To visit Australia using an ETA Visa for Business, Travel, Tourism or for Holiday reasons, you must have a valid passport from one of the ETA Approved Countries.

Your passport MUST BE valid for at least 6 months from the time of application.

Your Australian ETA visa is valid for 12 months from the approval date HOWEVER, if your passport expires within that 12 months, you MUST apply for a new passport AND A NEW ETA VISA if you still intent to visit Australia or if you are in the country when the passport expires.
